In early 1990's a most challenging development project to extend the limits of plastics extrusion technology was started by Conenor and its industrial and scientific partners in Finland. Today the unique Conex Wood Extruder (CWE) is recognized the only extruder in the market capable to produce multilayer composite A_B_A structures, either solid or hollow, with high fibre or filler content (>70%w.) on the product surface layer and where material formulations A and B are of your free choice !

Elimination of melt distributors for extruded products entirely free of weld lines
Simultaneous co-extrusion of multi-layered composite product structures without a crosshead and side extruders
Improved control of melt temperature, short residence time (RT) and residence time distribution (RTD) combined to highly efficient compounding and on-line mixing properties
1-rotor CONEX-extruder at 380mm rotor dia size
